This lecture was held in conjunction with my solo exhibition Walk From the Sun: Photographs of Southern California by scott b. davis. The lecture was part of a dinner and movie night at the museum, where I selected Jim Jarmusch’s Dead Man to follow my lecture.
March 2, 2012 The San Diego Museum of Art Artist lecture by scott b. davis In conjunction with the exhibition: Walk from the Sun Photographs of Southern California by scott b. davis from November 19, 2011 through March 18, 2012. While davis (who uses a specialized shorthand in which he forgoes capitalization) is inspired by the topography of various parts of the United States, he frequently uses Southern California as his muse.
